Hello everyone, my name is Elizabeth and this is my first blog. I am hoping to share my life experiences interests, discuss topics of my interest, books, music, food and even a little of my very own creations in both english and spanish (maybe even a little french ;P) The purpose of this blog is mainly to keep a track of life as I see it and what from it as a curly-haired medicine student living in the Caribbean who is pretty much excited to live life positively :)

Writing Prompt: Someone I've always wanted to meet

As much as I'd like to think that everyone admires someone they don't know, I can't quite figure out exactly who might that be in my life. I mean, I've met wonderful people, and surely there's even more on the way. It's just that I think that if you want to meet someone, it's because essentially, you want something from them. Writing Prompt: Someone I miss

So I found this old 30 day writing challenge I never got to complete. I left it on day 10 - yay for me- and well,  decided to write a couple entries since I  have the time and presumably, the inspiration to do so. This particular entry caught my attention firstly because everyone misses someone and secondly, because it made me realise that maybeeee just maybee, I'm  still missing this person that I thought I was on my way to forget. Two sides of a coin

When I found this post on Pinterest, I remember I was having a fight with one of my best friends. It was a Saturday morning and my Sexual Health teacher had us students attending a recovering class from a occasion that she was absent. My mind was so full of myself, the way I saw the situation seemed like my friend was wrong and I was tired of always being the "mature one", "the first one to talk" and whatsoever. I was over it, about to give up on almost eight years of friendship. So I started to look up quotes to calm down my anxiety and found this poem, which inspired me in many different ways. Mostly, it tells us that there's still hope no matter how bad things seem to be going, that  the way to cope with problems or situations rely mostly on our perspectives.
